Welcome To Trail de Paris

The 26th Annual Tour de Paris Bike Rally held on Saturday, July 17th was a huge success despite the soaring temperatures. Competitive cyclists enjoyed the new and longer 110k course while many families and neighbors enjoyed the 20k route that traversed the Trail de Paris. Pictures from the race can be found by visiting our photo galleries.

MAINTENANCE UPDATE
The City of Paris Parks and Recreation Department will be starting repairs to the drainage issues/erosion in the 2900 to 3200 block of the Trail de Paris. There will be advanced warning signs placed prior to starting this work. This construction could cause temporary closings in the area behind the Big Lots building continuing on just past the Catholic Church. This construction will not affect use of other sections of the Trail.  We appreciate your cooperation and patience.

PJC art students, under the direction of instructor Susan Moore, complete the south facing mural under the overpass along the Trail.  They also gave a "facelift" to the opposite side that was previously crafted by Jeremy Gray. Students who participated include Brent Dollins, Misti Flanary, Kaylon Merrill, Courtney Paul, Maria Rosas, and Isabel Torres. Local painter and Friend of the Trail, Johnny Meredith, also helped with the project. Enjoy their handiwork and gift to you as you traverse the Trail.
