Summer Baseball Program

Ages 7-10 (All 7 year olds that will be 8 by April 30, 2014 and will play Dixie Youth next Spring

Ages 11-12 - by April 30, 2014 (if we have enough to sign up)

The summer league will begin July 1st and end July 31st, 2013

Since 1993, the Town of Prosperity has worked with local volunteers to provide quality recreation for children 4 to 14 years of age. 

Starting with Tee Ball and Coaches Pitch, the program has expanded to include those sports as well as Girl’s Softball and Soccer.  As the program expanded so have the facilities. Today, in addition to the Town’s original Dixie Youth fields, the Town has a recreation complex complete with a baseball field, soccer field, basketball court, playground, recreation office/concession stand and a second stand alone baseball field. 

In 2006 the Town of Prosperity partnered with the County of Newberry through the YMCA to offer a more organized program that would continue to use all town facilities as well as sponsors.
